Project Engineer

Capron Company, Inc. has a current opportunity for a Project
Engineer to design, document and commission integrated hardware/software
control system solutions. Projects involve commercial, industrial and
institutional environments in both new construction and retrofit projects.

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities

Performs all aspects of control system design and
commissioning, including defining the project scope; determining the
appropriate system architecture; preparing submittal documents for owner
approval; creating control panel wiring diagrams and construction documents;
and with the CCI service and systems technicians, commissioning the complete
control system. Provides technical support to internal and external customers
as required.

Skills and Abilities

Must have a strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
A working knowledge of DDC controls application and theory is highly desired.
Proficiency in standard office software. Ability to manage multiple projects,
tasks and deadlines with attention to detail. Must have a commitment to high
performance standards and quality outcomes.

Education and
Experience

Requires BSME/BSEE and minimum 3 years experience in engineering
design and application. Experience in implementing open and standard protocols
such as LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus is desired.
